Surprised my wife with this set of Bakerpan royal icing tool set. She loves this set because it helps her take her cake decorating to whole new level! This set comes with the basic utensils to learn how to decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. Each tool is sturdy, can be cleaned and re-used. She says this is an excellent starter kit for cake decorating!

I'm not a baker and have very little baking supplies. I actually only needed a piping bag and tip but this kit was such a great value I decided to just get the whole kit. Comes with all of the essentials for pastry & cake decorating including 50 disposable piping bags, multiple tips, a cool icing spatula and a cup. This will last me for several years.

This Bakerpan Royal Icing Tools Set is an excellent starter set. It comes with everything you need to ice cookies, which is what I primarily use them for. The tips are great for a variety of techniques - you'll be able to do a lot of different designs with these. I love that it comes with the couplers! These hold the tip in place and I usually have to buy them separately. There are also rubber bag clamps that keep the bags closed while you're pushing the icing out. The scribe needles are great for popping air bubbles and creating spiderweb designs on cut-out cookies.The spatula is probably more for cake decorating and so I don't use it a lot, but it's good quality. I like that it comes with the 2-cup measuring cup as I use that often for my base icing (white). The bags are durable without being too thick and they're easy to fill and maneuver. This is really all you need to decorate cut-out cookies and the extra tips allow for more variety in design. Excellent pack!I took off 2 stars because there was some weird black thing in the bag. Looks and feels like a dead worm. It was pretty gross and it was in the bag with all the items, NOT the packaging. I had to spend a fair amount of time disinfecting everything and I tossed one piping bag because it had contact with it. A bummer, for sure. Other than that, I like everything about this set.

I needed a beginner royal icing set because of all of the decorating I do this one definitely fits the bill. I love the cup that it comes with. I love all of the disposable icing bags sometimes it’s just so much easier to dispose of the bag rather than to wash and reuse although I like going both directions sometimes the colors I use Will stain so having something disposable definitely works. This particular kit comes with several tips and specialty tools to help.Everything seems very durableEasy to clean and set upGreat priceOverall, I think the the set covers all your bases, although doesn’t have every tip you might want. It definitely is a great starter set. Everything you need to make it easy to decorate plus the spatula to crumb coat your cake.

I'm not a pro baker by any means, but I DO like playing with baking. I really wanted to make those beautiful jumbo stuffed cupcakes with mountains of icing like in bake shops, so i thought I'd try this - it has everything I need and more! I got the fillings in the cupcakes with one tip, piped a ton of icing on the tops, and even though they don't look like a patsy window offering yet, that's definitely the fault of the newbie handling the piping bags. I'll get a lot of use out of this set for a long time to come!

The cup in this set has worked well for mixing icing. It looks suitable for the microwave for making ganache or melting chocolate for dipping treats. The piping tips work as expected as do the couplers and scribes. The rubber ties don't hold securely with the bags they provided. It's simply too slick. Overall this would be a great set for a baker who needs some extra items or a new baker who wants to get started with some basic necessities.

If you like to decorate pastries or cookies and have been doing it without pro tools, it's time to upgrade! This kit does a good job of including the basics to get started, and the listing itself includes visual instructions for how to use the piping tools, which I appreciate. The bags are disposable, which is a shame - I would prefer silicone, reusable bags, but I can get those separately. This set ALSO works great for mixing and piping molding paste for 3D arts, and gives you great control over the thickness, shape, and size of lines piped out, and if the molding paste isn't too wet, it'll hold its round shape which makes it great for edging designs in a 3D fashion.Whatever your intended use of this kit, it's of decent quality to get you started until you learn what you're looking for and can upgrade further with that knowledge.
