I bought this in early December for my husband for Christmas. We didn't use it on Christmas but a few weeks later. When I opened it, the clay pizza stone that goes under the pizza was very badly cracked on the corner. I reached out to the company since I just needed a replacement stone and they said that you have to report any damage within 14 days of purchasing the item. They also do not offer refunds like amazon does, all of their items are final sale on their site. The outside of the pizza oven is very sharp as well and not manufactured in a quality way, my husband cut his hands on the outside metal part when taking it out of the box. All around this company is a no! Amazon helped me out but I will never buy from BakerStone again.

This pizza oven is much easier to use than the portable wood-fired one I've been using. Yes... by using this BBQ pizza oven, you lose out on the smokey wood fire taste. But the convenience and ease of use, outweigh that con. I fired up my Weber and put all of the burners on high. The temp gauge on the pizza oven started to rise within minutes. Although the temp gauge said the oven was ready, I waited a little longer and used an infrared temp gun to ensure the stone was hot enough to crisp up the crust. Having a super hot pizza stone is imperative to making great pizzas. This oven cooks much slower than my wood-fired oven because there is no open flame. This is actually a benefit because the crust doesn't burn quickly as it does with my wood-fired oven. It took about 4 minutes per pizza. The wood-fired pizza would be done in 90 seconds. This is an excellent addition to your grilling/BBQ arsenal if you want to make pizzas outside. It's super affordable and very easy to use. I will get much use out of it this summer. Highly recommended pizza oven!TIP == Be careful with the pizza stone. They are very fragile. If you plan to store the oven on its side, I would remove the stone first and lay it flat somewhere safe. You want to avoid the possibility of the stone sliding out and falling on the floor. It can easily happen.

Pros:QualityBuilt-In ThermostatFastStainless SteelSturdyEasy To UseEasy To AssembleConvenientCons:NoneWhat I received in the package:1 x BAKERSTONE Pizza Oven1 x Pizza Stone1 x Pizza Turner1 x User ManualThis BAKERSTONE Pizza Oven product I ordered just to see if it was any better than using the oven.In testing, this worked well. Although I do have to say that I found I needed to keep the pizza in for longer than expected to ensure that the middle was not doughy. You get a pretty good bang for your buck here. Real pizza ovens can be a lot more than what you are putting out for this.It heated up quickly. As soon as my grill was around 425, the pizza oven was a temperature. It was bout 3-5 minutes behind my grill temp. The oven comfortably holds any pizza 12” or smaller. I had a problem with the dough sticking to the pizza stone. Only to realize after reading the manual, that you should lightly sprinkle some flour on the pizza stone to avoid sticking. RTFM.The manual also reports you should turn the pizza Avery 45 seconds or so. I found turning it every 60 seconds worked just fine. The pizza brown very nicely around the crust and bottom. But left the center of the pizza slightly doughy. So just be sure to experiment a bit to get the perfect pizza. I found I needed to add about 4 - 5 minutes to my normal cook time since the heat is not direct like in an oven. But the end result, was a crispy crust and bottom and a deliciously hot topping array that we consumed post haste. The thermostat on the top is handy so you can tell when it is time to add the pizza. When cooking your pizza … just be patient. It will probably take a few tries at it to get the timing, sizing and portioning of ingredients correct. But once you get it … it is a whole new world. You can bust out personal pizzas in minutes and its fast and fun.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, I really liked this pizza oven. A couple of things to keep in mind. I would keep your toppings to a minimum or you will run the risk of burning your crust and bottom in order to cook the toppings. I would not put over 3 - 4 toppings to be safe. My pizza stone is already discolored but from what I read that is normal and common. If you spill ingredients, don’t worry as the pizza oven will incinerate anything as long as you give it some extra time after you remove your pizza to burn up anything that was left over. It can be a bit difficult to see to the back of the oven so you can use a flashlight to make sure you are not burning anything. I honestly think this is a steal for $100 dollars. Hope this information was helpful. [5 Stars]

Like the fact it is stainless steel. The ad is deceptive as the pictures show there are stones on the sides and the top, however, there is only 1 stone on the bottom. While other pizza ovens only have a stone on the bottom, I was hoping this one in fact had them surrounding the pizza to better equalize temperatures. The thermometer in this oven is pretty much useless as it doesn't show you the temp only a cold and hot sign. When I first used it, the thermometer was almost pegged to the hot side so I put the pizza dough in thinking it was hot enough, but when I later checked with my temp gun it was only 275 inside the oven. This wound up making the crust chewy. If you get this oven I recommend having someway to determine actual temp or replace the lid thermometer with one that actually provides temp..The pizza turner is not a pizza peel, it is more like a long spatula. If you are doing frozen pizzas it may work, but it is not wide enough to use for a homemade crust. If you get this oven you will likely need to buy an actual pizza peel.It did cook decent pizza but it could definitely be improved.

The ad shows unit with 5 stones in the oven, top, bottom, 3 sides plus a wooden peel. Unit received has only a bottom stone, and no peel. With only a bottom stone the heat escapes out the top and sides and thus does not heat to specified temps.
