very lightweight. but warm except for the coldest (subzero) days. still have to wear layers like, any jacket. does not overheat indoors; you still stay comfortable. Hood has elastic, but no draw string. For Minnesota winters, I would buy a heavier down jacket next time.

This arrived the week of sub zero wind chills and proved to be very warm and comfortable. I'm 5'8" / 175lbs and purchased a medium which is a little bit snug, but still comfortable. Highly recommended. I compared to my friend's Eddie Bauer puffer jacket, and he wishes he knew about mine, because he paid over $150 for his.

The "Upgraded" puffer jacket arrived with a ring of retroreflective material around the chest pocket zipper. it's the stuff they make safety vests out of for running at night. This is not in any of the photos. It shipped from China so it took a few weeks to get here and I'm not interested in shipping it back. Buyer beware. I'm going to see if I can go over it with sharpie or something.

Fits very good based on the publidation info, is warm and soft, has a taste os duck feathers with the brand. the original prioce was $189 in the brand. So...for 189 is exoensive, but for 50 is great!

This is extremely light weight and very warm for its build. Use on hunting trips in my pack. wind resistant, packs down to the size of a can of soda, and water repellant.
