I normally don’t leave reviews but I just got these in the mail today and tested them just now for a red velvet cake and they work really great! Absolutely no dome!

I picked these strips up to help with my cakes forming a dome at the top. I love the color and that they’re adjustable, easy to fit larger pans. I typically bake 6” cakes , so I was able to adjust them to my small pans. They’re well made and durable. They’re easy to use and I believe that they’re worth the money. I’ll have to report back about the burn resistance!

Absolute waste of money. The first one in the packet ripped before I even used it. I followed the instructions when using the second one and it would not get tight enough to not fall off the 8 x 8 pan I was trying to use. There is no velcro or adhesive of any kind and there is nothing to secure it except for the fabric loop. Useless.

I thought that since this was sold by Wilton that it would fit the Wilton 8” square cake pan. I was mistaken. The slope of the sides of the square cake pan are too angled for these baking strips to fit and stay on the sides. Unless the sides of your pan are straight vertical, don’t bother with these.

Worked as it was supposed too and the cake cooked evenly (no big crown) and the outer edges didn’t turn brown.

First time ever using these strips. Loved how my cakes came out, nice and flat, NO Hump in the middle. LOVE LOVE them.
