The sneaker is a snug slip on with a velcro strap to keep it in place. I can only comment on the assistance aspect since my child is autistic and does not yet know how to put on her shoes. The sneakers look nice on her and she seems to be happy walking around in them. The main winning feature of the sneaker is the velcro strap for me.

The shoe sizing is in line with other shoes that we purchased for the kid.The shoe has a mesh top and it really shows the light through air flows really good for it, the tolls box area is pretty rounded, so I like it doesn't squish the toes together.The velcro placement is good, allowed the shoes tongue to pull all the way up. That allows easier for the foot to sliden in.The shoes bottom sole is soft enough and grippy, I can see this is over or a good shoe.

These sneakers have been perfect for my 2-year-old! We got the 9 Toddler size in the blue and white, and they look even better in person—bright, clean, and super sporty.They’re lightweight and breathable, which is great because my kid is always running, jumping, and climbing on everything. The fit is true to size, and he has no trouble putting them on by himself thanks to the easy design.Also, they’ve held up really well after a few muddy playground trips and quick cleanups. No weird smells, no falling apart—just good, sturdy little shoes that keep up with an active toddler.

My daughter loves her new sneakers. They fit her just as expected, and they are very stylish shoes. My only concern is that I can see right through the mesh and see what socks she has on. So there is great air flow, but I'm unsure how that will hold up over time.The bottoms have a nice grip texture which she tested out by running laps around the kitchen island (unprompted, but a good test!). They are not clunky at all so I have no worries about her running around tripping in these. The sole of the shoe is firm, but comfortable. She's worn them for a number of days at school now and still loves them - no issues reported!

I ordered these Balabala sneakers in size 10 for my almost-four year old daughter. Upon putting them on for the first time, she was so excited and was just absolutely delighted with these shoes. She ran all the way outside to the backyard basketball court just to show her Daddy. They are just slightly too big, perfect for having a little space to grow. They are very nice looking and were easy for her to put on without needing any assistance. They look and feel like they would be very comfortable. My daughter loves wearing them and has kept them on her feet at all times during waking hours without my reminding her to put them on. I gave four stars because for the price I expect to see treads on the shoes. Perhaps that is old fashioned now? Wear have all the treads gone?? I suppose it isn't too much of an issue for my toddler because she will outgrow them quickly and doesn't do much to wear out treads like my basketball playing teenage boys.

I ordered these purple and pink sneakers for my 7 year old niece who’s at that age where it seems like she grows out of her sneakers every few months. She currently wears a size 2 and the size 2 in these shoes seems to be a smidge too big which is great because they will fit great when summer finally rolls around.These sneakers are constructed of that breathable net type material which makes them flexible and they have a cushioned insole and a higher lightweight foam sole which makes them lightweight. I have a few pair of sneakers with the lightweight soles and it’s amazing how comfortable they are. These are no tie laces and so all the child has to do is fasten fasten the Velcro strapMy niece said she really likes these shoes, not because they are comfortable -which they are, but because they are “pink and purple which are her favorite colors.” These sneakers are priced at $33 which seems to be a little lower than average. These Balabala sneakers do seem to be fairly well made and good quality, the materials seem durable and they are easy for the child to put on and take off on their own. My 7 year old niece gave them her seal of approval!
