Oddly, the bolt to tight the band is one of the bracket mounting bolts. They should be separate, as the function of the two things are completely different. The bracket needs to be TIGHT to the body, the band that hold the coil itself need be only snug.Not a bad price for something that will work.

I wish it had a rubber washer inside to dampen vibration and in turn give a tighter fit.

It is way too small for a standard Bosch coil. I don't know what it's meant for but whatever it is Is tiny. Also, I ordered black and got unfinished steel. Correction - it does fit an MSD Blaster 2 coil.
