This knocker looks pretty good, so I kept it. There are 2 reasons I am giving it a 3 rating. 1–When you close the door it clunks. After the door clunks shut, the knocker clunks a second later. The old antique knocker was weighted so it didn’t clunk the second time. The second reason has to do with the bolt. It is much easier for me to use a threaded rod 20-40 from a hardware store. The knocker I was replacing used threaded rods. Makes the job easier.

Very nice and I still can’t tell why it was listed as used. It is beautiful. Very heavy and solid. Really enhances our door.

I'm known to be quite picky with high expectations, so let's start there. When the package arrived at my door, I picked it up and knew I was not getting junk--it was beefy and substantial by weight. Nevermind that....bc when I opened the box and took one look at this shiny, beautiful brass knocker, I knew then I had made the RIGHT purchase. I had chosen the right style too. ( I almost went for the traditional knocker but decided it looked too colonial.) This is modern, very upscale, sounds great, and really added class to my painted front door. (New door coming in next year or two.) The instructions were easy to follow! If you're thinking about it, get rid of doubts....buy it!! U won't b sorry.

Definitely Looks super great on the door. There a paper template that comes in the box to use when measuringThe holes for the door. This template is off about 1 to 2cm. So I almost screwed up my brand new door using that Template. If you use theTemplate double check your pencil marks by putting the screws into the door knockerand then line the screws up with your pencil marks before you drill your holes,for 100% accurate alignment .

Nice good heavy piece, very stylish. No template to help guide you to drill the holes, we had to adjust a smidge about 4 times to get it right. These screws are quite short.

This door knocker is beautiful. It's not only well-constructed but is classy and unique looking. I shopped around for quite a long time and when I found this one I knew the price and quality couldn't be beat. I wasn't disappointed in the least.
