We have Baldwin Reserve door hardware throughout our house (installed in new house 10 years ago). The door from the kitchen to the garage is operated 10-100X as often as any other door in the house. When the latch bolt would no longer properly/fully retract online videos suggested the problem was excessive wear as shown in the second photo.If you're not sure how to disassemble your existing door hardware, searching for "How to Install Baldwin Reserve Keyed Entry Hardware" will likely assist you in finding a helpful video.
