First love the color!2nd band/lid combo is the best way to store your herbs for prolonged times.I highly recommend these!The seal is very tight and If you want it tighter get a mason jar sealer for $30 on Amazon.Super thick glass that is built strong.

My girlfriend had a set of these that she brought over some homemade soup in a couple years ago. I've wanted a set of my own ever since. Finally gave in and bought them. So glad I did. They are super cute and very functional. Wish I had got them sooner.

I just made a 2 jar supply of pickled green tomatoes ... the jars were perfect for that recipe. I love the old look of the blue tinted glass too !!!

On other ball jars I've purchased there's a big divider piece in the middle of the jars to avoid them rubbing against each other. This one doesn't have that and the contact points are scuffed. The outside was well protected and I realize amazon shippers probably aren't the ones shrink wrapping the items in the sleeve, but I almost would've paid a little extra to have a cardboard divider in the middle.They are a very nice color and the lids have the textured color pattern on top like the lids from that era which i think is a nice detail.

Quality….however pricy for amount you get. I have learned how to color mason jars. Glad I know, very cost effective. Simply put mod podg with a few drops of food coloring in a dish stir gently.don’t want bubbles they will show. Pour into any clear container slowly turning glass to coat eavenly. Turn up side down to drain. Turn oven on 250 and leave for an hour to hour and a half. NOTE: put parchment paper on cookie sheet so glass does not stick. Looks just like sea glass. Beautiful

These are not wide-mouth. They are regular mouth. Even the picture is showing regular mouth. I just didnt pay much attention to it it as the listing said it was wide-mouth and I just assumed they used the wrong pictures. The mouth diameter of the jars I received is around 2.60 inches which is consistent with regular measurements. Its identical to my small Bernardin jars except it can fit 1000ml instead of half. Amazon is going to issue me a refund.Regular Mouth is supposed to be = ~2.75 inchesWide Mouth is = ~3.38 inches
