Lids are lids and these are probably good lids, but the price of $12ish dollars for 6 packs seemed really good. Only one pack came and they were obviously opened and were taped closed. Did the company expect me to keep these? Shipping packaging was ok.

As others have already reported, expect to receive only 1 box of 12 lids NOT 72 ct like the description says. Horribly over priced for only 12 lids.

The lids themselves are great. They seal easily with both water-bath canning and pressure canning. When I order them I only receive one pack of 12. I've done this 5 times.

They cost a little more but worth it. The last time I needed domes I bought a brand that had 180 for very little. They had no know me on them. I had at least one dome per canner load that failed to seal and had to be reprocessed with another dome. Waste time, money, and effort.All my jars sealed first time with the Ball domes.

First I went with a cheaper brand and at least 50% of my canned tomatoes failed to seal. And I didn't trust the seal on the other ones. I used a professional canner and they leaked all over.I switched to these Ball brand, did the whole process over again (ugggg) and everyone of them had a true solid seal with no explosions in the canner.Great lesson for me! This isn't the place to try and save some money. It took me too long to grow the tomatoes, harvest them, cook them and put them in the sterilized jars. Go with Ball lids that you can trust. It took me an extra day to correct this mistake. I won't be using lids from China again!

I bought a bunch of these lids in late 2020 because I was desperate. I received smashed up old looking Ball lid boxes but the lids inside looked like they might do ok. So far I have used 140 of them with no lid failures (seals were perfect). I used a pressure canner at 13# for 75 minutes which brings the inside temperatures up to around 240 deg. F. They weren't my "Balls" but they performed well. None of the jars are showing any sings of false or broken seals after 6 months on the shelves so I think the quality is OK. I just bought this year's supply and I'm looking forward to another successful canning season. My advice: give these a try but check each one as you wash them before canning with them and if you only waterbath can I don't think you'll have any problems. Happy canning!

I had ordered “Wide mouth” I was very excited to get the order earlier than estimated be cause I had many tomatoes to jar. But the lids were NOT Wide mouth they were a much smaller size. I did not return them because it is a size I also use although it will be many years before I need to buy more small lids. I was very disappointed to not get the Wide moth lids I desperately needed.
