The product leaked where the black ball lock screws into the faucet. I tried to tighten the joint as hard as it would go to stop the leak but with no success. Now, no matter how much I try to unscrew the ball lock, it does not come out of the faucet. The product appears to be good otherwise but it can't be used with a leak.

Quality parts that work as intended and expected. No leaking. Without a beer line I needed to reduce keg pressure a lot. It would be nice to include instructions on how to install the auto shutoff spring.

This works well on for my smaller 1.75 and 3 gallon kegs and not bringing the dreaded plastic party tap which inevitably gets abused by some happy camper who cannot seem to figure out how a simple plastic tap works. Wastes a lot of my hard-earned home made brew I'm trying to share.Only comment I have is a suggestion for the seller. The words in his description, "Compared to the plastic party tap, this draft beer faucet has a good valve that makes a difference to create less foam when tapping." Gave me short-lived hope that maybe here was finally a less expensive Perlick tap I'd sacrifice to picnic use. Obviously, my immediate sobering thoughts were that no way would I expect to see good Perlick quality as part of the kit priced this low. Oh well, adapter will let me try the one Perlick tap I've got if I see a real need for it.The system works. Use your food grade keg lube regularly to prolong the life of this (and any) ball lock connectors/O rings. You should be happy with it.Recommended.

My kegerator gave up the ghost after 15 years, so I'm just keeping a corny keg in my spare fridge for the time being.The tap spigot mechanism is exactly what you'd expect, and works the same as every other tap. The spring is a nice touch to prevent spills and leaks, and I'm surprised I'm only now starting to see them included with most taps.The corny keg connector is just your standard ball lock connector, but the piece you want in this kit is that conical adapter that lets you attach a standard tap to the connector.

Easy to assemble and works great. Make sure you get this one with the self-closing spring. I accidentally bought a second one w/o the spring and I spilled wine all over my floor. Better to buy one which includes the self-closing mechanism. I can't seem to find the spring to add to the second one.
