This Ballet Wrap Mini Skirt was so cute and size appropriate for my 8 year old in size 8-12. It's natural resting size fit her exactly with hardly any stretch needed. The elastic waist feels like it can comfortably stretch another 3 inches for older ages and probably up to 6 inches but will more than likely feel the pressure on waist at that size. The material of the skirt is a type of sheer mesh that's also stretchy and pretty strong. The yellow looked fabulous and overall we're very pleased with it.
