This is an absolutely beautuful tree. For 50+ years we've had fresh trees, and at our age now, it's just a lot of hassle. I suggested we try a faux unlit tree (upon advice from another review, thanks!) so when the lights die I don't have to replace the whole tree. Never having had a fake tree before, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I put the base and lower unit on the coffee table to more easily attach the lights, then the middle section, each time putting down a single row of branches. We add a LOT of lights, doing it this was made it so easy. Then I moved the whole thing to the floor to do the top tier. And it looks fabulous, really, so much like a Fraser fir. Very, very pleased, and so is the skeptical husband.

We’ve had our Balsam Hill Christmas tree for nearly 10 years, and it’s still in perfect condition! The quality is truly incredible—no sagging branches, and it looks just as full and beautiful as the day I got it. And the best part it, it’s easy to set up!

This tree looks like a healthy real tree. The color of the needles is perfect and the somewhat random angle of abundant branches and twigs when you have fluffed it out adds to the effect. I'm impressed with the quality and am glad we made this choice. Took maybe thirty or forty minutes for two of us to fluff it out with the enclosed gloves - another quality touch.

We purchased the 6.5 foot unlit tree so we no longer have to deal with lights that don't work. This tree is just perfect for us! It took me about an hour to completely fluff it out wearing the really nice gloves that are provided. It turned out wonderful. We can't even see the center post because it is so full, plus there are no gaps. The three sections are easy to lift and put into place so no more struggling with heavy pre-lit trees. I put on some slow twinkle lights and it is really beautiful. It arrived just before Christmas so I was able to trim it quickly to have it ready for Christmas day.

From the quality heavy box, to the 2 pairs of fluffy gloves, to the instruction booklet, to the fabulous tree….sheer quality! I am so thrilled with my purchase of this tree. It is quality and beautiful.

This is my first fake tree and I spent a lot of time trying to find a good one. It’s the middle of the line for this brand and I felt like it was definitely worth the price and held up to the description. Set up was super easy, you do have to “fluff” the branches but it took me maybe a total of 10 minutes (still less time than picking out a real one!) the fullness is very nice and the branches are sturdy. The needles are pretty nice, they’re thick and look pretty realistic. I was worried they would look super fake, the photo in the listing made me a little nervous, but they look better in person. The only thing I’d mention it the height of the tree is about half a foot off in the sense the last 6 inches is a single branch for your star or angel. If you’re wanting a true 6.5ft I’d consider doing the 7.5 and bending or removing the top branch to so you don’t lose the height. Overall I’m thrilled with the tree and would definitely buy it again.

My error was not reading more thoroughly. The height of tree was given as 6.5 ft. The tree was not 6.5 ft. the tree and the stand was 6.5 ft. So tree was too short but I put it on a wooden base and covered it with tree skirt. I do believe Balsam Hills tree height claims border on deceptive; but, again I should have read more carefully. The tree is lovely and realistic. My first ever artificial one, but it displays my old and new family heirlooms beautifully. I also will never face the hassle of failed lights. Purchase the unlit versions.I did not have any issue with my Balsam Hills tree for which I am grateful as many reviews mention poor customer service.I firmly recommend my Balsam Hills classic blue spruce Christmas tree, but I also suggest shopping for them or other styles only during a company sale. Regular prices are astonishing

A few hundred dollars spent, 90 minutes of condescension, 2 hang ups, and long processing times is all it takes for you to not have a Christmas tree this year.I ordered the 6.5ft unlit classic blue spruce, and when fully set up, stand and all, it came in a whopping 5'9". Nine inches may not sound like a lot, but it's the difference between being over my head or under my nose (not to mention being Division III vs. starting NBA).Call customer service. Hung up on. Call back and after 50 minutes of dismissive arguments, I'm told that it may only be 69-in. based on "my system" (you know, the Imperial Measurement System), but tough because every tree listed at 6.5ft (78-in.) will measure that tall. I'm also told the Federal Trade Commission and Truth and Advertising aren't really a thing, and if they were, they wouldn’t care. He knows, he was a paralegal. My options are then spelled out:1) Deal with it and keep the wee tree. If I don't like it, donate it (I'm not kidding), but there would be no refund2) Get a refund, minus an exorbitant shipping and restocking fee for their labors in deception3) Return the tree and get a credit to spend more money with this provenly deceptive company and get a bigger tree. He recommends a 7.5ft tree, because that might be 6.5ft according to my (and the rest of the U.S.'s) system of measurement. Oh, and I certainly won't have it for this Christmas. At this rate, maybe I'll have a St. Patrick's Day tree.Over the course of this conversation, I asked to talk to a manager 4 times.Manager request 1: My manager is busy.Manager request 2: It could be a while. Your time is valuable. You don't want to wait. I'd call back.Manager request 3: Ok, I'll go ask. (On hold again.) He doesn't want to talk to you.Manager request 4: Fine, you can wait. (Put on hold for 30 minutes, hung up on.)Call back and fight my way through to a manager (after another wait period). Manager picks up and swears his employees would never confirm this deception (they did, repeatedly). And ultimately, Amazon should return my tree. Despite their listing false information, it's not their problem.
