I love the idea of this book-holder and it is useful, but I have a few problems with it. The pull-out section doesn't touch the surface the book-holder is on, so it looks a little strange. The dividers are very snug in the divots, which is nice because they won't shift or fall out, but if you want to rearrange them, you have to take the books out and hit the dividers from the bottom to make them budge. I do also wish there was a base to the holder, but I understand that would be hard with the sliding portion. If you have it fully extended, there is a portion between the two that has a lip, so you can't put a book there, which is slightly annoying. However, the quality is very sturdy and nice looking. It does its job, so overall, it's a good product.

ZERO STARS.Based on how this cookbook organizer arrived, I DO NOT RECOMMEND.The frame was in pieces. The product was so poorly constructed that it fell apart during shipment. It's not an assembly-required frame -- you're only supposed to have to insert the dividers into the frame. I can't even attempt to reassemble because the nails at the ends are bent out of shape.

I was hoping this would solve my cookbook storage issues but this certainly did not work. First off the smaller part arrived dis-assembled and I wasn’t able to put it back together because they used fine staples that were bent during shipping.I tried to make use of the larger portion but most of my books are much larger and don’t sit into the tray causing it too be too tall to fit into my cabinet. The wood is a nice bamboo and you get four dividers for each section that only fit the section they go into.If you have smaller books or booklets about four or five inches they could work well and if you’re handy with wood repairs this might work for you.the idea of this is nice, I would suggest the manufacturing to secure the pieces better and to make a deeper option for larger books.
