I use cloth napkins snd folded, they fit nicely in the napkin holder.

This is better that a stand up holder. Holds more napkins & easier to get one out. Only drawback is takes up a little more space. This wasn’t a problem for me.

In a perfect world, I would have freshly washed and ironed napkins at every meal. It is a creature comfort that I treasure. But, the Reality of my Life is that "everyday" meals must get by with paper napkins. That said, I like high quality dinner napkins and having a fresh stack in a nice holder is just what I was looking for when I found this. It is for my Breakfast Nook and is adjacent to my kitchen which has a lot of wood so I felt a wooden holder would complement the general decor. It holds the napkins nicely, especially when eating messier foods that might require additional napkins. It also makes me feel that I have my act together a little more than just having a random stack of napkins lurking around. Know what I mean? Life is messy and chaotic: your napkins don't have to be. Get this holder!
