I was surprised that I liked them. They are soft, absorbent, and reusable I use them in the kitchen several times. Then laundry them and use them again. I have not compared pricing. I am too old. I simply think it is a good product.

The base is too small for a bigger roll, looks odd until you get to see the base half way through the roll. Nice quality though!

Nothing fancy here, but sometimes that's just what you want. This was a great value, simple assembly and it does just want you want it to do. It also works great for reusable paperless paper towels. It looks great and I would buy it again.

A heavier base section would help a bit, as the wood is quite light, but it does its job well.

Purchased this item because I tend to move around the kitchen with the paper towel roll quite a bit while cooking and my roommate gets frustrated (rightly so) when leave it in random places. So we decided to try this paper towel holder for a static roll and have me use an extra roll to move around with too. This holder is fantastic! I have zero complaints. Easy to assemble you just twist the rod into the base no tools needed. Sturdy, doesn't wobble or tip over even when not holding it down while pulling a sheet of paper towel and ripping it off. It's absolutely perfect. Simple, elegant, and functional. 5 stars.
