I got this as a gift for my daughter who is mad about bamboo and has been teaching herself how to cook and bake.She immediately went to work copying her favorite recipes into her new recipe box. She has a knack for being able to modify recipes to make them better. I don't know how she does it, but it helps her to have those modifications written down instead of simply saving them on a website or social media page.The box itself seems well crafted with a smooth finish. This box could last a lifetime if she's able to take care of it.The price of $21.99 doesn't seem unreasonable considering the attractive box and recipe cards included.

This recipe box looks just as described - it's made from smooth, weighty bamboo with a smooth hinge and plenty of room for recipe cards. However, the first one I received had the magnets installed with the wrong polarity, such that the lid was repelled from the base and didn't close! Definitely look out for that - luckily the seller sent a replacement which has no issues.The included recipe cards are cute, but I will likely choose to buy different, more rigid divider cards as they're a little too flimsy. The cards also slide down inside the box and will get bent easily, so I'd recommend quickly filling the box out with more cards to prevent that.

This recipe box is nice. It's a good quality bamboo box and it comes with everything that you need to get started. This would make a nice home warming gift as well as a nice addition to any kitchen. The set comes with the recipe box, the dividers and recipe cards for you to add your recipes. What is really nice about these recipe cards is that the front allows you plenty of room for ingredients and the back space is left for the preparation directions. The cards are of good quality as well, which as you know is important for them to hold up with repeated use. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this set and I will, for sure add my favorite recipe cards to this box since there is plenty of extra room to expand. Great recipe box set, you won't be disappointed.

I actually bought this to use with knitting pattern cards which are exactly the same size as standard recipe cards and they call them recipes instead of patterns because they're only schematics so it fit really great for my use too. The box is an amazing quality wood that's very sturdy and looks fantastic! It holds a ton of cards and allows me to see everything clearly when flipping through then when I find what I want there's a little spot on the outside of the lid to stand up the card to read it while using that particular card, it's very convenient! I couldn't be happier with this storage box and definitely recommend! I'm also thinking about adding a few personal touches with some vinyl cut with my cricut to spice it up a bit and make it even cuter, just thought I'd suggest it as that's what I plan to do on each side for fun and a little personalization.

I've been looking for a recipe box/book/binder ... something ... to keep my recipes in. Especially since I recently lost them on the computer. I've looked and looked and looked and everything was lacking in some way. This set has checked all my boxes and then some!* Very large box with a hinged lid that is easy to open/close.* Made of smooth, lightweight (yet has thickness) bamboo.* Comes with an awesome supply of 4x6 recipe cards .... and there's STILL plenty of room in the box.* The recipe cards are made with thick cardstock.* The cards are what makes this perfect for me ....The front is where you put the ingredients, etc.The back of the card is entirely for directions. And there is plenty of room with it done this way. if you need more space for the directions ... use another 4x6 card (they're not expensive), finish your recipe and staple or clip them together.* Comes with a set of index cards to sort your recipes ... I got 2 'soup' cards lol. You DO have to work with them to get them to line up right lol.* Even the lid of the box is very deep.* The top of the lid has a thinline groove that goes across the entire top to put your recipe cards while in use.The ONLY thing I'd change/make better is deepen the color of the word 'Recipes' on the front of the box. I may do a little upscaling/beautifying myself.Every other recipe box has cards I dislike.Every recipe book is useless because there's little space to write a recipe ... too much space is given to prep time and servings, etc. and NOT enough for directions. And/or you can't move them around when you add/remove other recipes. That's what makes this perfect for me. Lots of space to write what I want ... what I think is important. Less space for servings, calories, etc. and I can move things around as I choose with no disruption.I 100% recommend this product!
