These tools looked awful. They were rusty and definitely looked used.

These are horrible tools. They arrived in a rusty package. The shears are so stiff that they are essentially unusable. The cutter is rather unwieldy, but at least it is usable. I would not buy these again and I suggest that you spend a little more money and get some good tools.

Cheap tools definitely. The pruning sheers froze up on me all of the sudden. I had to put all my weight on them to get them to start moving again. It as like the screw in holding them together totally shifted. It started cutting metal away from the blade edge because they were so misaligned. I have no idea what I did to make them do that, but they still work alright. They aren't the smoothest cutters in the world either. The knob cutter works well though. Haven't had any issues with it. You MIGHT want to look else where for bonsai tools. Get the most expensive ones you can afford in my opinion.
