My saw happens to have a notch pin so I needed to create a notch in the plate, but it was easy. I just had to slip the plate on, lightly tap it with a dead blow to allow the pin to create a mark underneath,. then I used a round swiss file to create the notch. Done.

Fits my bandsaw perfectly. Only had to make my own cut for the saw blade slot but has a good tight fit and doesn't rattle around. Nice and flush with the deck, nothing hangs up while trying to cut.

It is slightly oversized, but with about 2 minutes labor and a file or sandpaper it fits nice and tight which is what you want. It is slightly thinner than the original equipment version, but it works to keep small pieces from jamming the blade area and serves the purpose well enough. It is a good bit cheaper than factory supplied products form Delta and it is aluminum and not a flimsy plastic.

These are awesome. They replaced a broken one and I get a spare? Sweet. I had to slightly modify it in the center but no big deal. If you have a gaping hole in your bandsaw table, get these. They are aluminum, NOT strong at all, but they keep splintering on your wood to a minimum. Great product for the price. Check pictures, minimal splinters

Big improvement over the plastic insert that came with my bandsaw. I just purchased a Harbor Freight 14" bandsaw. These inserts fit very nicely. The only problem was that they were about 1/32" too thin. Actually the plastic one that came with the bandsaw was too thin also. That was an easy fix. I just put on several layers of duct tape and problem fixed. I know I will be buying more of these if I ever need any more.

The December 27, 2015 review by Phil H. is accurate. I bought these inserts before he posted his review, and wondered about differences between earlier reviews (2014), like mention of protrusions (there are none) and diameters or thicknesses being too big and too small. My old Delta Homecraft saw has a table slot in-line with the blade, no locating pin, and no place for any protrusion. The listing says the insert is 2-1/2 by 3/32. Actually, the ones I received measure 2.510 x 0.086 (once I removed the edge burr). I had to touch up the diameter on a bench sander to fit in my 2.502 opening, but that was good because the original edge was rather rough (sloppy!), so now I have a perfect and snug fit, and the thickness is just right. Insert is slightly below the table so the work doesn't touch it. A good, sturdy product after all, though pricey!

This WILL fit a DELTA 14" with slight modifications. The diameter is ever so slightly larger than mating area in the DELTA table but a little filing on the circumference of the disc with a good file works like a charm. The only other modification was that the original DELTA design had a small male tab on this disc to fit into a mating female slot on the table. This was to keep the disc from rotating and jamming against the blade. The new disc has no tab but does have two female slots on opposite sides as can be seen in the picture. On the Delta table there is a 1/8" hole in the casting below where the female slot is located. I purchased a short 1/8" spring pin and drove it into the hole flush with the table top. Now the new disc mates up perfectly with the spring pin locator and can't rotate into harms way. END RESULT: works as if it was a DELTA direct replacement.
