Easy to install, changed the sound of the exhaust brake to a deeper tone, and can hear the turbo more, would be nicer if the price point wassn’t so high but banks does make good products

Nice fit and finish and an added bonus for the turbo whistle from the additional air flow.

I put this on my 14' 3500 Ram. My OEM boot had torn and the dealership wanted 380 for a new one. So, reluctantly I ordered this Banks kit. I do not like a loud truck, quiet and comfortable is the game for me so i was a little nervous about droning.PRO-Arrived quickbasic hand tool installVery good instructionsminimal increase of noise in truck, zero drone.Possible increase in MPG 1mpg or less.Increased throttle response and speed of spool.Con-Cost- As this is the most expensive kit I found I am not sure that the cost is worth the gain compared to others unless you are deleted and tuned. My truck is emission intact and I only noticed throttle response as the added benefit. Now with a tune I think that this thing would shine.

Honestly, I am very disappointed with this. The intake came in a branded box that appeared to have been kicked around and had all the parts loose. upon opening the box it was observed that only a single piece of foam roughly kept everything inside. I bought this for my 2014 and upon removing the stock intake I noticed the Banks intake tube was either not long enough or not able to be put into the correct position to fit inside of the provided air box. Additionally, the air filter (which arrived with a large amount of debris from what I'd guess as manufacturing scraps) would not in any way securely tighten to the intake tube. When tightening the filter with the provided C clamp to the intake tube the clamp just slips off both the lip of the filter and the intake. The intake box also was not able to properly fit the filter in any way. The only way the filter would possibly fit would be to have it resting outside of the intake box. And finally, the intake tube; Upon trying to install the stock MAP sensor, the mounting hole was to small to fit the factory sensor. In addition to that, the MAF sensor when attempting to install into the new intake stripped both mounting screws inside of the intake so it was unable to be removed from the Banks intake without completely destroying and cutting the MAF sensor mount out of the intake tube.Overall,I am very disappointed with something that has the Banks name on it. I bought this intake because I know a lot of people who have had great luck with other Banks products. Hopefully this is just a manufacturing defect or just a bad product.

Installed on my Ram 3500. OMG, you can hear the turbo whine so well. Sounds sooo good. Haven't noticed any performance yet, but other Banks products will be installed this year. Install is a little involved, but still had it done within 2 hours. Very satisfied with product.
