HOW TO USE: 1. Choose the appropriate size of jammed paper and put it in the embossing folder . 2.Put the embossing folder and the jammed paper into transparent plates. 3.Put it into the embossing machine and turn the operating lever. 4.Take it out and it's done.

- Misting your material, especially if it is a heavy weight cardstock, with water on both sides prior to placing the material inside of your embossing folder and running it through your machine will help you achieve MAXIMUM dimension!
- Because of the hills and valleys or "highs and lows" of these new embossing folders, we suggest running your Sandwich through your machine a total of 3 times, for those rich, bold textures.
- NOTE: We recommend using heavyweight cardstock (≥250gsm/92lb)！！

This is a lovely embossing folder. You can use it as is or if you want, you could cut the embossed designs into four pieces and adhere into a design that you decide on. This is a 3D embossing folder, so you do have to be careful when prepping it to be run through your cutter.I appreciate the opportunity to use this folder. thank you.

This is a 3D embossing folder. It works fine in my Sizzix. The pattern it makes looks like an old scroll. The pictures on Amazon didn't really show what this looks like when applied to cardstock. If you're looking for something that will give an old or worn background, this is it. Most of the impression is quite subtle.

I have plenty of small embossing folders for my Sizzix Big Shot and was looking for some larger sizes. I came across this unusual Deep Forest and Castle folder in a larger 6.3 x 4.5 inch size, which is perfect for A7 and larger cards. The price point for this larger size feels like good value.Although I haven't made a card with this folder yet, I always run new ones through my machines to ensure they work and are of good quality. This folder is thicker than standard Sizzix folders, which isn't the first time I've encountered this with third-party brands. However, it was easy to use with my Big Shot; I was able to easily roll this through using only the platform and one cutting pad on top of the folder. The second cutting pad and adapter plate were not needed with this thicker folder, highlighting its functionality with common die-cutting machines.I achieved a nice crisp emboss using dry 65 lb cardstock with just one pass through my machine. The folder rolled through smoothly with just the right amount of resistance, and the design looks lovely on the paper. I'm looking forward to creating some greeting cards with this embossing folder, perhaps using distressed inks for color and adding some small fauna and wildlife in the foreground for visual interest. This would also be wonderful for journals and scrapbooks.

First, I want to mention that I received this product for evaluation. I planned to use the BAOFALI 3D Embossing Folder for Card Making, Deep Forest for scrapbooking and card making. I expect that the design will be pretty. This product has met all of my expectations, and the quality is great.Design: Trees. The design is beautiful. I tried this folder with 80# cardstock and it made a great impression. The scene is of a fantasy forest and curved path. The nearby trees are leafless while the ones farther away are pines, very pretty and peaceful scene.

These days are easy to use and produce a nice clean emboss line. You get a nice assortment so you can do a very detailed design. It’s made out of a heavy plastic which will go through a hand, cranked dye machine or an electric one. I have used them several times and so far they have not bent or broken. They are well priced for the quality.

The design is beautiful and I just love embossed items! With the particular die cut machine I have, I was not able to use the top and bottom plates with this embossing folder. However, I found that the die cut machine I have seems to emboss well only with the same company’s embossing templates. All the other embossing folders that I have purchased elsewhere have the same problem as I do with this one. The machine does not like to take the folder (too thick). So even though the instructions say to use a top and a bottom plate, I have to remove the top plate in order to have the folder go through the machine. I also misted the cardstock to get a better embossed image. AND I needed to run it through the machine several times. I think if I had a thinner plate I would get better results. So all in all, it’s a beautiful image and if you have no problems with embossing folders on your machine, you should be okay with this one, too.

Nice floral embossing with an open space for greeting or sentiment. The shapes are high enough to use a blending brush to add a touch of soft color without tinting the background. Makes nice card toppers.
