As for as battery supply of voltage for days, it's unbeatable and works great. But it weighs more and that little clip in the GT-3TP that holds the battery in place cannot support the weight, so it breaks.Then you have to tape the battery in place. A pain in the butt.To be fair, the radio is the problem. Its battery retaining clip is weak. Some have broken on us in use with only the standard battery ever used.

Ich habe diesen Akku sehr schnell zugeschickt bekommen und auch gleich ausprobiert. Er passt sehr gut in mein Baofeng GT3 TP Mark III. Der Akku hat im ersten Durchgang auch sehr lange gehalten.Kann noch nichts negatives Sagen.

I have several Baofeng radios and I always purchase the larger battery. Never any issues and seems to double the talk time on my units. Plus it holds a charge for months.

Great to have the long term power available for this HT radio. Much more convenient to use than small OEM battery, and it gives a large hand like mine something bigger with which to hold the small HT radio. This BL-5 battery fits GT3TP radio, as it should.

Initial 4 Star review March 2016:Looks great, fits nice and firm, lock up snuggly, not loose. The battery case design matches the GT3 line.I can't attest to anything about battery voltage, mah, or longevity, I just have to trust the genetic label. Your mileage will vary.It did arrive fully charged, or nearly so. My radio powered on like normal. It sure seems worth the $17. Hopefully it'll last a few years of constant use. What more could I ask for the price?I'll be ordering 2 per radio, as I'll use the original as the 3rd backup.I've attached (6) photos to show looks and fitment.UPDATE: 5 Star December 2017This battery LASTS. I've only charged it a few times since March 2016 and it's still going strong.Definitely worth the small amount of money.

Excellent! Long duration use on a full charge. Be sure to run three consecutive cycles of full charge to fully discharged use as they come new from the box, in order to achieve maximum charge capacity of these big energy bricks. They fit my GT-3TP perfectly & help fill my hand for better control. Love 'em! A GREAT buy!

Great extended run time. Battery fits a bit loose and occasionally moves down so much that radio looses contact. The radio is being used in some very extreme environments (fire/SAR) and gets banged around quite a bit. Under normal uses this battery should do just fine. Best aspect of this battery is it's extended run time and my solution to it's looseness was to heat and bend (slightly) the locking tab now it stays in place and is a nice tight fit. (This I would NOT recommend doing by just anyone as it will void your warranty and may be more harmful than good if not done correctly).Worth the price by far and the looseness, may just be my radio/battery.I will buy one more soon.
