Very nice case. My UV5RA fits nicely in it, and my UV-K61 fits well if I remove a lower foam piece.

Cutouts in the foam are accurate. Able to hold the radio and necessary accessories - chargers, cables, etc. Good for emergency radio while travelling.

I have the Baofeng UV-5R with the 3800mAh battery. The description states "Specially designed for your BAOFENG UV-5R All Series". It appears the engineer made no accommodations for the battery. It will fit if creative but not ideal, see photos.

This case is perfect, almost, for the Baofeng UV-5R. The short coming is if you have an extended/long range antenna you will have to bend/ bow it into the mesh pocket in the lid which will be semipermanent when put to use after being stored in it.I think if you have a ‘rubber duck’ antenna less than the 8 inch inside dimension of the lid you’ll be fine. The additional accessories, shoulder microphone, headset w/boom mic fit just OK , as you have to place them specifically to shut the lid to zip it closed without straining the zipper, or possibly damaging them.

The radio, charger, AC adapter and antenna fit perfectly. Lots of extra room in the top pocket to fit the user's manual, programming cable and a 3800 mah battery. Really good hard shell protection for my radio. I'm happy with it!

I ordered two for my two identical radios and one fit perfect while the other was way off with the foam cut outs so I rated it a 3 out of 5. The one that fits is really good but the other unfortunately involves stretching of the foam to fit.

Cut-outs for the Radio, base charger and power charger, have to disconnect the ariel but a place for that, too in the lid. Also space for external mike and headset, also for the larger ariel.
