It appears to be a professional industrial switch. The switch case is metal, the wire appears heavy duty yet flexible. I'll find out how water proof it is. My intended purpose is using it as a lift cutoff switch for an ATV snow plow.I've wired it up, using the black and red (Normally Open) wires spliced as an interupt switch so I don't lift the snow plow too high stressing the winch, mount, or plow.I wired it to interupt the 'IN' switch, and NOT into the large guage winch power wires.Alas, It works as intended.I'm going to put a silicone coating over the switch housing once I've got the mount finalized.I'll advise as time goes on if it lasts.

Seems good quality and does the job. I'm using it as a jack position sensor on my Motorhome / RV.Works as whisker AND plunger though the plunger doesn't have a lot of travel.It feels pretty heavy duty.Edit: The rubber boot on the whisker has already split apart after only a few months. For this price, the waterproofing should last longer than that.
