Fits my Bella classic moped well. Great assist for tie down when hauling the scooter.

I've strapped down my fair share of scooters, dirt bikes, and motorcycles, but never used this type of strap. I bought it specifically for a motor scooter (Vespa) on a hitch mounted carrier. I did not like to loose feeling of the throttle sleeves, and what really bothered me was that the left bar sleeve tightens to the right, and the right bar sleeve tightens to the left. The crossed pressure felt very unstable when ratcheting down the bike. I immediately took this off and went back to the old ways - loops on each bar or triple tree, and ratchet down on the same side. It did what it was supposed to do, and seems well constructed, but I did not like the final connection.

I used them on a small dual sport for about 6,000 miles on a road trip. They worked but if you're trying to get years of use I would probably opt for something a little more expensive.

Finally had a chance to use this this week and it was a mixed bag. I was moving a 1000cc sport motorcycle, which weighs about 450 pounds. Because it has wide handlebars this didn't fit as well as I'd prefer. It did do the job but the tie-down strap angles weren't optimal as this thing is too small. On smaller bikes it should work great. I used redundant tie down loops for insurance (which I usually do anyway).I did not have any material tearing but I think it would wear out in regular use. But how many of us do this daily, or even weekly? So I'd recommend this if you have a 500cc or smaller bike, or especially if you have a scooter or moped. For the bigger bikes it's best to pony up the extra money for something more heavy duty, like Canyon Dancer.

Saw this thing used on a YouTube video showing how to transport a scooter. A very safe and easy-to-use device to hold the scooter in place. And the purchase - how can it be easier? So glad I just decided to roll the dice and bought it.

I ordered two and both have worked perfect for transporting two scooters on a trailer. These are light duty so I wouldn't use on my big bike but for a couple of Zuma 50's these are fantastic.
