This rubber bar cushion is thick and sturdy enough to support even a very heavy weighted bar, making it far more comfortable to do shoulder shrugs or presses. It's comfortable across the hips, too for hip thrusts. Simple, versatile necessity for any weighted bar exercise.

I had been re-purposing a hip thrust pad to help with heavy barbell squats. They are just a little too bulky and cushy. No more! This thick silicone pad is exactly what I needed.It's simple, fast, and easy to install - you just slip it onto the bar.It's got a slim profile, so it doesn't displace your head/neck or feel awkward. Yet it has enough of a cushion that the bar isn't digging into your shoulders, allowing you to lift more weight and do more reps comfortably. It's also got a bit of grip to it - it stays exactly where you put it on the bar without slipping.
