The shape isn’t round but oblong/oval. I bought this for my marble/stone egg. The smaller egg didn’t sit in there without falling off. A larger one sits in it fine.

Very cute, but very small. Will work for a small, marble-sized sphere I have. Also, it’s an oval, not a round base. Check measurements before purchase.
