These have worked out great for our two dogs. Our dogs are a little over a year old and they are yorkies which mean barkers. This has helped minimize barking when used consistently.

This collar was effective in stopping my large dog from barking when he hears any other dog barking in the neighborhood, and he then keeps it up for a long time after they cease, severely annoying my neighbors. initially activating and attaching the collar, no more barks after a few founds of his barking. And still no more barking that day or following days after the collar was removed (he howls instead, quietly enough not to annoy the neighbors), so it was extremely effective at training him using the default settings for noise, vibration, and mild shock (and the shock need not be activated for those who do not want to use it).Pros:• it works!• charges up quickly• simple to adjust collar for neck size of dog• LED display is bright and large• two sizes contact points included (for delivering mild shock to either long or short haired dogs)• charging is via a standard USB-C connection with the charging port protected by a rubber cover• charging cord permits charging both collars at onceCons:• instructions do not completely match collars in that there is no ‘indicator light’ mentioned in the instructions as flashing during charging and they also do not identify such a light in the diagrams• instructions showing LED icons do not clearly indicate what all do (e.g., “protected”)• no information on how to turn off after removing so as to preserve charge, only how to power on (but I found another long press on the power button yields a beep and power is off)• there are two buttons to press and the one labeled “M” should intuitively be for “Mode” (changing among sound, shock, etc.) but it is in fact the power buttonMy four star review reflects a perfect five for functionality less one star because it took a bit of trial-and-error to align operation with the incomplete instructions. Also, although it worked perfectly with my large dog, testing it by playing back barking sounds indicated it is less sensitive to the barks of small dogs.

They work, but a little too well. I dipped a box on the floor and the dogs collar went off. It definitely picks up way more sound than it should. If i turn the sensativity down even 1 level then it won't even pick up my dog barking.

Literally the BEST Amazon purchase I have ever made! Hands down recommend to anyone who has a dog that just won’t stop barking, this collar will fix that in one day/night. Not only that but it’s such a steal! The price you can’t beat.I ordered these collars for my two small shihtzu dogs, both boys and are about 3 & 4 years old. I finally got to the point where I was just so tired of their barking. They bark for any little thing and at night right when it’s about 8-9pm. They bark nonstop, I felt bad for my neighbors but also annoyed because I have tried different methods to teach them to not bark and nothing would work. I found these collars and ordered them. I was scared at how bad the shock was so I set it to level 2 shock and my dad let me try it out on his arm, LOL oh it worked. I started off with just the beep and vibration but it didn’t end up working so I had to resort to the shock. I set it to beep, vibrate, and shock. Let me just say after the first night of them wearing it they learned. It’s been well over a month and they no longer bark at night or at all, unless needed too. These collars are absolutely AMAZING. I must say the collars were a bit big for my dogs so I had to do a little adjusting to them so they’d fit perfectly. I do also want to say the battery life! Is excellent. My family took the collars off my dogs and didn’t know how to turn it off, so they were left on for a few days & when I found out and went to turn them off it was still fully charged! Definitely recommend these collars.

Ok so let me start by saying that I don't like the product, however, it has made a night and day difference, so despite not liking it and wanting to give it less than 5 stars, I can't.I have a small white dog (Toy Poodle and Bichon mix) who is the best and sweetest dog ever, but barks incessantly and is so annoying. She sits in the window like a cat most of the day and watches people walk in front of our house and let's everyone know shes the boss, yap yap yap yap. When someone would come to the door, she would lose her mind, barking like crazy. That high pitch small dog bark that pierces your brain. It had gotten so bad that I couldn't do conference calls from home anymore because she was crazy, hence the collar. Also, if she got outside and saw someone walk by, she would go into attack mode and run after them and bark like she would bite, but as soon as she got close she would be too scared and run away.So anyways I bought this collar and was impressed it came with two collars, not really sure why it came with 2, but I won't complain. It has metal barbs used to shock the dog, but I didn't really want shock our dog, plus the collar needs to be uncomfortably tight to work that way, so instead, I skipped installing the barbs and just set it to beep and vibrate and keep it lose around her neck so that she can wear it all day long.What I don't like is that it doesn't consistently pick up my little dogs high pitch bark, so at first it seemed like it was going to be a waste, but it did work about 50% of the time, so I just kept it on her for a few days to see.Turns out, it doesn't need to work 100%, 50% is just fine. The beeps and vibrations startled my dog enough to get her out of crazy mode and so after a day the random stranger on the sidewalk no longer got a bark. After 2 days, a ring on the doorbell got a growl but no bark, then after about a week, she could be sitting off the leash in our front lawn and someone walks by and she just acts like they aren't even there, literally no reaction, It's crazy!!It's been about 2weeks and we still need to keep the collar on her or she starts reverting backwards, however, it does seem to be sticking and I think after a month or two we will no longer need it. Plus, I still haven't charged it yet, which is pretty amazing considering she wears it 12-16hrs per day.This has been a game changer for us and Lulu.
