Bark Ranger XL Kickstand
Designed to support bigger dogs in the Bark Ranger XL, the Bark Ranger XL Kickstand provides added stability for your dog’s trailer. The kickstand attaches to the front or rear of the trailer and helps your dog feel secure by keeping the trailer level during mid-ride pauses or when loading and unloading.
When it’s time to head out, simply fold up the kickstand and you’re ready to roll.
Pro tip: use the kickstand while training to stabilize the trailer during loading and unloading to help make your pet feel more at ease!

I bought the Burley XL bark ranger from my bike shop. I ordered two kickstands, one for the front and one for the back so that my dog can feel stable at his 90 pounds of weight when he enters the carrier.The instructions say that it is easy to deploy the kickstand with your toe, but I don’t know anyone’s toe that could hook into that and make it go down. I’m talking about when it is attached to the bike and you are halfway through a trip and the dog needs to get out. I can’t tip the trailer up to deploy the kickstand and I also can’t get down on my hands and knees to deploy it. I’m going to have to create some kind of Velcro strap to be able to pull it open at this price point, it should be better designed and should come with the trailer.

Given the price point of the burley, this kickstand should be included and not sold as an add on.
