These are great for cutting flowers and pruning, their sharp, strong, and well made for the price. Barnel is my fav. The only flaw is the color, black is hard to locate if dropped outdoors. I lost the green pair I bought before these, they should all be yellow or orange.

I had a pair for maybe 10 years Blade broke and I needed a replacement This one is just like the broken one except for the colorI use them at our rhododendron and azalea nursery to prune, take cuttings, and (horrors) with the long blade occasionally dig out deeply rooted weeds in the greenhouse beds. Very handy because I do not have to stop and get another tool to grab the weed when I am pruning or taking cuttingsGood tool, good price, good service

A good all-around tool for cutting small bushes, flowers and harvesting vegetables such as artichokes, winter squash and cucumbers. I probably use this tool more than any other--it's compact, holds an edge and adaptable to multiple uses.
