I got my 2001 with 4000 miles. Previous owner raced it, dropped it, and parked it.I rode it to about 10k and the clutch started to slip under load.I put this kit in and its been GREAT for 5000 miles now.The springs are much firmer... but the old ones were 20+ years old... either way. the engagement is smooth, linear and it doesnt slip anymore!
