I only replaced my factory clutch with this one because I figured it needed to be done after 30k miles of abuse. This works great, feels just like the factory one did and I got it faster and cheaper.

Bike is an 07 Vmax, before it became quite apparent there was slippage the clutch was grabby at take off, ( Old Clutch ) which led me to believe the carbs had issues or cable adjustments were needed.. Long story short the bike has been restored to full power with the smoothest take-off transition from a stop. Acceleration is as smooth as a baby's ass and blurring at full throttle. Bike screams!

The parts were right the kit was wrong didn't like the fact that there was no area to check fitment for this particular part when I ordered it. Unfortunately an oversight on my part I did not count the plates when I started installing didn't realize this was for the 1300 not the 1600 two plates short didn't figure it out till I had to put it in the shop. There was a spot for fitment check on the other parts that were ordered just not this one would have saved me $250 if that fitment check was there on that part like it was on the others.

Went in perfectly. I put the clutch plate kit and clutch spring kit in together in about two hours. One hour of that was getting the old gasket off.

This spring conversion kit made all the difference for my 96 Royal Star. A quick note: to seat properly, the conversion plate's teeth must engage the housing teeth, which took me two tries to figure out. When it's in the proper position, the plate has less rotational play (slop) and seats a little deeper. There is no mark to tell you it's aligned properly. Also, when my bike (96 Royal Star) was on the side stand there was no oil visible in the sight glass and I didn't need to drain my oil to do this job.

As the header says......, the product is perfect, but I didn't expect the charge (approx $40,00) for tax and import duty to have it shipped to the Netherlands. Never the less I'm happy with it.
