Added the springs to the original clutch on my 02 Honda VTX1800C. 35,000 miles. I did clean up the steels. So far so good. Clutch was slipping with aggressive driving. Not anymore.

They were definitely larger than my stock springs, which I assume had compressed over some 40K miles. They fit perfectly, and my clutch no longer makes the noises it did prior to installing the new springs.
