I recently purchased this barometer. It arrived nicely packaged with a note of appreciation from the Seller.The brass barometer was accented by a beautiful walnut base. Surprisingly, what I especially liked was the accompanying book. The book was very informative and composed in such a way, that the average person, like me, could easily understand. Illustrations were used to help the buyer to grasp the points being made.All in all, I see this as a nice piece to enhance a desk setting or as a great science project for young people to understand how atmospheric pressure affects our lives and the things around us.
