Adjustable, sturdy with a wide tripod base. Lightweight for transport and the including carrying case is good quality to last the season and probably beyond. I have another tee that is more compact in size, but this one makes up for it by the stability it provides while hitting off the tee. I used this with my son & his teammates that are 7 years and under. Great addition to work on hitting skills for any ball player. I would highly recommend.

My Eleven year old is in his 3rd season of Little League and he's very focused on training. There isn't any training aid he won't try. While this Tee is well built, it looses its value because of the tripod base. He's getting more exercise picking up the Baseball Tee because its so light and unless its a clean hit, its constantly tipping over, so he has to keep bending over to pick it up. So as of late he's asked me to find an alternate. So in our judgment its really not designed to assist.

Amazing adjustable tee. Used for Softball training but would be great for baseball, wee ball , etc

Update: been through a round of "non-parent" use now. Not thrilled at all. Tripod does not stand level any longer (this is after two times of unfolding it) and the areas that are supposed to act as a vice to tighten around the moving parts do not close enough after use to keep the thing together. Cannot recommendSo there are a lot of options of this item on Amazon. Each one is essentially the same thing with a different name slapped on it. I think the best bet is to pick the cheapest one and go for it. The tripod is sturdy and the carrying case that came with this one will likely last at least one season of baseball for us. I'm pretty pleased overall but had to take away two stars because of the fault in the main mechanism.The soft cup that holds the ball comes packed with right in with the tripod and arrived smashed and misshapen. I'm hopeful that after some time it will go back to it's original shape but for now it has not. This is a problem as it does not cradle the ball as easily as it should.otherwise, this is what I expected and I am decently happy with the build quality--just needs a better mechanism for holding the ball.

I got this so that my children can practice hitting their softball. It is adjustable so that we can make it the right height for each of them. The tripod is sturdy and make of steel. The rubber top holds the ball in place and there is no concern that the tripod will be damaged from the swings. It folds up and comes with a storage/carrying bag.

Our tee recently broke, and this is a great replacement. I love that this folds down, and takes up so much less space than our last one. It’s not quite as sturdy, but still works well. The quality is great, it’s constructed really well. It also comes with a bag that is pretty thin and will probably rip in no time. The bag should be just a couple inches longer to cover the rubber ball stand so you don’t have to remove it each time. Right now the top sticks out, which is annoying.

I ordered this batting tee as an alternative for a male family member who really would have preferred a professional batting tee. The quality was better than expected for a lesser expensive tee, but as other reviewers have noted there may be issues with the tee holding up over time. There is one problem with the tee falling over if it is not sufficiently weighted down. The rubber top is very flexible and there is a question about how long it might last after so many hits. For the moment when the base is weighted the tee is working well as a stopgap measure until a professional tee is purchased. The plan was to eventually transfer this tee to smaller kids for their practice when it can be given up.

If you hit the ball cleanly, the batting tee is acceptable. Hit slightly off, and it falls over very easily because of the lightweight tripod base.
