It has a nice pocket but the padding is a little thin and it’s plasticky. Catch it in the pocket, you’re okay, otherwise it’s going to sting a little.

I love the color of this mitt. It's like a light camel color. Nothing like what I thought. It's a soft/medium stiffness, so it won't take long to break in. Very satisfied with my purchase

This glove lasted less than half a year. It saw a whopping four innings of actual game play, before it just fell apart. It had been treated well, and only used in practices up to that point.This isn't a high quality mitt, but it also doesn't scream "cheap." There are some things -- like the wider laces being one-sided with padding on the other -- which are odd and inexpensive looking, though.As expected, the mitt is slightly stiff on arrival, but it could still be used straight out of the box with very few issues. (And it actually is packaged in a box.) The breaking-in is going well, and quickly.The mitt is comfortable, including the flap for the index finger. There are no sharp/rough edges, and the padding efficiently cushions pitches from stinging the left hand.
