Got this for my 12 yo who just moved up to 13u. This mitt fits well, he complains about it hurting when the metal pieces are in it. This is his first sliding mitt so don’t have anything to compare it too, but it does appear to be well made . The metal pieces can come out, but not sure how much protection it offers without them

When I was growing up we didn’t have these but they’re pretty cool. My son is 12 and it fits him. They always look big in my opinion but he said it works. Seems to be good quality to last extra seasons.

My grandson is 11 years old and has average size hands for that age. It fits him just fine and he says he likes it and it's comfortable. I can see though, as he grows bigger, he will be passing it on to his little brother. Right now it fits his hand just fine. This sliding glove/mitt is well made and looks plenty sturdy enough for 11U ball. Being a ball player myself I've had my hand stepped on back in the day when we wore metal cleats and leather shoes. That's absolutely no fun. I'm sure with todays rubber cleats though it still hurts to have that happen. This mitt should protect the leading hand just fine when sliding into base.

This mitt is perfectly sized for my 11 year old son. This is a non-name brand, but is made very well, and I expect to last a couple of seasons. We got the plain black mitt which I like because it is not flashy at all. The velcro strap allows for a wide variety of wrist sizes, and the stiffness of the mitt will help not only extend the length of his hand but also protect fingers from getting jammed or injured.For the price, this is a highly valuable piece of safety and utility equipment. I'd recommend it for any up and coming player who loves stealing bases!

Love the sliding mit for my baseball player. My son says it is very comfortable, makes him more confident to slide, and he feels like a pro. Fit is adjustable to grow with the player. Made with high quality material. Comes with odor control pod for between uses.

My 5 year old son was so excited about this gift. He has been using it everyday to practice his sliding and it’s still holding great shape. It seems durable.
