I am so impressed with these solar, dual function, pocket calculators. They seem to be very solid and of good quality. They are small, but fit nicely in the palm of the hand and are definitely large enough to press the buttons individually. The buttons are soft and rubbery or silicone, which I like, vs hard plastic. Most of all, I love that it comes with a 1.5 V (AG 10/LR1130) battery already included for low light usage. So many of the solar, pocket calculators sold on Amazon require a AA battery, which is not included. I purchased these calculators to be included in the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes I pack each year for the 10-14 age group.

These are perfect for a classroom. I use these in my science classroom for basic calculations. They are battery and solar powered so they will last for years. The buttons all work well and have had no issues. These were a good value for so many calculators and now students do not need to share.

Simple, but well-designed calculator using solar energy for battery recharging. Can display up to 8 characters plus a decimal point and will perform all standard functions including add, subtract, divide, multiply, and square root. Great for elementary through middle school students or for anyone needing a basic and inexpensive calculator.

These calculators are absolutely serviceable basic calculators, ideal for classroom settings in which you might need some basic math, but not necessarily higher mathematical functions. They're small but not so small that it's inconvenient. And at $32 for a 20 pack I couldn't find anything cheaper that didn't look like it would literally fall apart. I was so happy to find these available for Vine review as I am a teacher and I do need new calculators for my class and these will work great. Played with a couple of them to make sure they work randomly picked four out of the shipment and all of them functioned fine. While I would always check around for prices, this seems like a heck of a value to me

Nice, lightweight calculator--solar powered, and clear crisp numbers on the screen, even inside in low light. They come individually packaged in a somewhat resealable plastic wrapper, if you are careful. You may want to keep the wrapper because on the back are examples of how to use all the keys like the square root, percentage, and M keys. I have to admit the examples didn't make sense to me, and I tried to use the percentage key and couldn't figure it out. I finally went online and researched it, and realized there is another way to get a percentage then the two ways I knew how to do it on paper. So now I know how to use the correct sequence for that. The M keys are still confusing to me, but by this time I flipped over that plastic and restudied the examples again and saw how I was reading the chart wrong--I was reading each column one at a time instead of reading all three columns across--I think the lines separating the columns are confusing--the lines should be separating individual problems/examples. Anyway, now how to use the M keys makes a bit more sense--so I highly recommend keeping the wrapper for reference if you are like me and have only used a calculator's basic functions like +, -, x, etc.

This basic calculator is compact and convenient, making it easy to carry around for school, home, or office use. It runs on both solar and battery power, which is useful. However, it only performs very simple calculations and does not support the order of operations — it calculates strictly from left to right. For example, it won’t correctly handle expressions like 2 + 3 × 4. This is fine for quick, basic math, but not suitable if you need more accurate multi-step calculations. It's best suited for kids or anyone doing straightforward number entry.

I'm really pleased with these little calculators! Even though the buttons are small, they're responsive, and it's not too hard to input your intended calculations. They easily fit in a pocket or purse, and I like that the back of the cellophane packaging includes some different math formulas. These could be great for use in a classroom setting or to stock an office supply closet.
