Your cart is empty.The Basil Miles Tarpaulin trunkbag is a black bag for real sports enthusiasts. Are you going on a cycling vacation or just out for the day? Then this carrier bag is for you! Made of strong, waterproof tarpaulin, it's incredibly multifunctional. The bag is black in colour but has sporty orange details. In addition to attaching to your carrier, you can wear the bag comfortably over your shoulder. It also has a removable shoulder strap and convenient handles. The bag has a total capacity of 7 liters, divided over several inner compartments. Some compartments are padded, so you can carry fragile items like a camera or phone and know they're protected. On top of the bag, you'll find an extra pocket where you can store a water bottle or a compact raincoat, for example. Thanks to the taped seams and roll closure, the bag is waterproof (IPX 3), so there won't be a drop of rain with the contents of your bag. The flap of the bag closes with a zipper, and the Basil Miles Tarpaulin carrier bag easily attaches with Velcro. You'll find this Velcro on four sides, so you can attach the bag extra securely. Would you prefer to combine it with an adapter plate? That's entirely possible too! The bottom of the black bag is also suitable for MIK or Racktime adapter plates (sold separately).

The zipper isn’t well made and will often snag the liner. Then the zipper pull just broke off not repairable. All this after a few months Bummer that such a nice product didn’t invest in quality key components.

Tamaño adecuado, ya que entra hasta el casco, impermeable y estéticamente bonita.Un pelín de dificultad para abrir las cremalleras, por el dobladillo que tiene encima, pero también es una ventaja para protegerlas de la lluvia y dificultar la manipulación de manos ajenas.Encaja perfectamente en un adaptador MIK, no se mueve y tampoco se hunde la base.Muy satisfecho porque después de mirar muchos modelos y opciones (velcro) creo que he acertado.

After trying and returning a number of alternatives, this one is a keeper. The bag fits my rear rack perfectly using the integral MK system. It holds its shape well, no sagging when near empty, and is very easy to mount and dismount. It is fully waterproof and has been personally tested in Scottish downpours with no issues. Only minor criticism is the zips can be difficult to access due to the weatherproof ‘fold over’ design of the opening lid, but that is a small price to pay for keeping kit dry. The internal liner is an added layer of protection. Overall, worth the premium over the cheaper bags I tried and returned.

I don't ride in the rain on purpose, but that doesn't mean I don't ride in the rain.It's not very waterproof. Inside the lining the shape of the bag is supported by cardboard/fiberboard, not really sure what it is. Anyway, it became waterlogged riding in wet conditions and lost it's shape.I'm going to try and rebuild it using some high density plastic sheet material.

anche se non menzionato nelle caratteristiche, la borsa è impermeabile, resistentissima all’acqua. all’interno della borsa c’è un’altra sacca impermeabile, fissa, dove si inseriscono vari oggetti. da utilizzare principalmente per quando piove molto forte. piastra MIK già montata per portapacchi predisposti. abbastanza capiente per le sue modeste dimensioni. prima di acquistarla, controllate se sul vostro portapacchi è incisa la scritta “MIK”, per accertarvi della compatibilità.
