This is a great bag, so far! Lots of pockets, tons of space - highly recommend! My hubs particularly LOVED the backpack straps. Everything appears super high quality and I'm pretty sure he's going to totally steal this bag as we travel back and forth often between Hawaii and the mainland often. Haven't traveled with it yet, so will definitely provide an update if we find the strap uncomfortable or if anything breaks.Too early to tell if it will be adopted as a gym bag, or travel gear bag, or if the kids take it over for their sports - but first impressions are GREAT! Zippers appear to be of high quality and the backpack straps are nice and padded. Will add some photos!UPDATE: I just traveled from Chicago to Hawaii using this bag as my carry-on and I'm literally OBSESSED. I was able to fit soooo many things inside! I stuck my travel pillow and 2 bags of Protein Puffs in the Basketball holder pocket, freeing up me from having to juggle my neck pillow amongst my goodies. In the main compartment I stuck a blanket, my laptop, iPad, and some other goodies. I had so many zipper pockets for random things. There's even a small compartment we slid our phones into, to easily get through security. This bag is SOOO easy to access in the plane, being a duffle, everything was super accessible! Being able to wear it like a backpack was a dream - super comfy! Due to its longer duffel bag length it actually spread the weight in a way that made the bag (imo) feel even lighter. The backpack straps were super comfortable. This will definitely be my go-to travel bag for the time being! Will update if I experience and premature wear and tear or anything. As of now.. 5 stars all around. Could not be happier! BUY THIS BAG!!! (We travel back and forth between Hawaii and Chicago every month so we'll see how it holds up!)

This basketball backpack (which can also be configured as a duffel bag) looks nice, has plenty of storage and is comfortable to wear.This is a nice looking backpack. The exterior of this backpack is made of high quality Oxford fabric (for anyone unfamiliar with Oxford fabric, it is a lightweight, flexible canvas with a urethane coating on one side that makes it water repellent, provides greater tear strength and the coating gives it a distinctive smooth appearance). The interior of this backpack is lined with a very smooth and somewhat shiny fabric which I would guess is a type of nylon (it is distinctly different than the exterior Oxford fabric and I can tell it is stitched on as a separate liner inside the backpack and is not just the opposite side of the Oxford fabric).As for storage this backpack has a good amount that is logically arranged. There are two symmetrical basketball/shoe pockets on either end of the bag that consist of very large interior facing pockets (each big enough for about 1.5 basketballs) that keeps your basketball(s) and/or shoes separate from the interior contents of this backpack. It is also worth mentioning that these pockets are ventilated toward the outside so if the contents are wet at all, they will be able to air out.In addition to the main two end pockets the exterior of this bag has a zippered pocket that runs the entire length of one side, and on the middle of the opposite side is a small pocket that is just big for an iPhone and finally there is a small water bottle pocket that could be used if you were carrying this bag in its duffel bag configuration.The interior of this bag has one zippered pocket, that is the same size as the iPhone one on the outside. The second interior pocket is a large ventilated pocket along the entire backside of the cover of the backpack and the last interior pockets are three open top pockets along one side (look the right size for one pairs of socks for each pocket).To test this bag out I put a basketball in one of the end pockets (specifically made for basketballs), some shoes in the other end pocket and then put a few towels in the interior; then (wearing it as a backpack) I put it on and then rode my e-bike to a basketball court. After wearing this bag as a backpack for about 30 minutes total I have to say it is actually quite comfortable as a backpack. The bottom/backside of this bag (the part facing my back) is somewhat rigid and provided good support against my back and the backpack straps were easily adjusted and felt comfortable on my shoulders.The next thing worth mentioning about this bag is how to transform it from a duffel bag into a backpack and back again. You simply unzip a pocket on one end of the bottom of the bag and reach in and pull out two backpack straps; next you reach into two corner pockets on the opposite end of the bottom of the bag and pull out two corresponding straps with clips and then clip those strap into the buckles of the backpack straps and now your duffel bag is a backpack. Then of course to transform it back you simply reverse those steps. So it is a very clever idea and this bag implements it perfectly.In addition to being able to be used for sports, I think this bag is nice enough and has enough pockets that it could also be used as a medium sized travel bag. If you need to or just want to wear it as a traditional duffel bag, a padded duffel bag strap is included. Also of course you can just carry it to your side if you prefer using the traditional bag handles.I should also mention that if you use this a travel bag, the iPhone sized exterior pocket on one side was designed to double as a luggage strap. To use it as a luggage strap all you do is slide the luggage handle (of your rolling suitcase) in-between the exterior pocket and the main part of this bag and then you can carry this bag around on top of a rolling suitcase. This is a worthwhile extra because sometimes it is preferable when traveling to carry a bag on a rolling suitcase vs in your hands or on your shoulders.So the bottom line is this bag looks quite nice, is comfortable to wear as a backpack, also works well as a duffel bag, fulfills its primary purpose of being able to carry a basketball and associated items easily, and is nice enough and has enough pockets that it can also be used as a medium sized travel bag. So I like it and think it is worthwhile.
