I own 25 trail cameras and I am slowly converting them to external batteries, so I use these a LOT! This one is not radically different from the others I have, but I do like the gray color, which blends well with the bark color of the trees better than black.

This works great for connecting a trail camera to a larger external capacity battery. Easy to install with clips ready to slide unto battery terminals.

I doubt if I could make a cable cheaper than this one, and it's all molded and ready to go. This is an excellent buy for your game camera external battery connections.

Not a splashy item. A little shorter than I really need. Connectors simply crimped on (not heat shrink crimps.) Doesn't fit my Spypoint Flex-Plus. Probably will fit my Covert (but that is 3 hours away!) Doesn't appear to be a bad product; it just feels cheap. But for the published price, it will probably serve its purpose. Will just need to spice to longer length of wire for my use. Will update with any issues.

I could build my own cable to get this done but this is cheap and very well built. No soldering just plug and play. I actually have a number of 12v devices that use this size plug so now I can use any 12v battery with spade connectors. Recommend.

We took a chance on this, hoping we could make it work with our various trail cams, but no luck. That's on us, not the product. It seems well made, cable is decently heavy and well wrapped. Plug ends are solid. So if you have a camera this works for, we can see no reason this would not be a great option. We'll keep the cable for the day we have a camera it will work with.

I am using this on a homemade LifePo4 auxiliary battery for one of my very distant cellular trail cams. I found it to be exactly what I needed and it was reasonably made, for the price point.Highly Recommended.

This external battery cable is a low sheen grey color which camouflages a lot better than black cables. After the season I am going to use a sharpie to add some dashes on this to hide it better. I'd do it now but the odor will linger. Did not fit my Spypoint camera which is what my original intention was as it uses a 5.5 x 2.1 connector. I could use an adapter but that is one more way for water to get at things. It fortunately did fit another camera I own, an older Bushnell Trophy. This camera no longer would take AAA batteries due to corroded terminals and this cable made it useable again saving it from a landfill.

Make sure your application requires a cable that is center positive and has the connector dimensions as specified: 4.0 x 1.7 mm. It will also need spade terminals, or you will have to install them.
