In physical dimension, I am pretty much the average healthy American male (5'10" and about 170 pounds on a good day). As such I can usually fit into medium clothing.I ordered these gloves in medium, as I thought large would be "sloppy." That might be OK for work gloves which I often take on and off repeatedly while working in the garden or working with construction-related tasks. For biking, however, the gloves only come off for lunch or at the end of a ride.Well, these are SO ridiculously tight it takes an Herculean effort to put on and to take off. The biggest issue is the wrist cuff, which in my opinion is just simply far too undersized for the size of the glove. If that were remedied, I would have a nice tight glove which would be nice for cycling. But I don't want to spend so much time frustratingly putting them on or taking them off. The repeated stress on the fabric from this would likely cause the glove to fail early, too.The manufacturer should likely call greater attention to the sizing chart, which looks accurate ... but does not seem to follow typical sizing for the United States market. If you get these, also pay attention to the need to cut off the string holding them together in the package. The plastic connector ends of the string will not pass through the holes in the fabric tabs once inserted. I almost tore the tabs thinking they would slide through. The nice product tags on that string is exceptionally high-end, using very thick cardstock and a die-cut of the BatFox logo on one of the cards, showing yet another BatFox logo to show through from the second card.If a less expensive product tag were used, the product would likely cost a dollar or two less!I've given the gloves to my son who is still a few sizes smaller than me. He likes them, but can see that they will likely not fit him within a few years.

These biking gloves are an okay set of gloves, not the best I’ve used but they’re decent. The padding on the front of the gloves is an acceptable amount of padding to slow hand fatigue while cycling but some ergonomic hand grips would be helpful to supplement these particular gloves. They’re not the easiest to put on due to no Velcro strap at the base of the gloves. The material is just stretchy (think stockings) so you have to wiggle your hand through them more so than Velcro strap versions. To take them off you have to really pull them which sometimes turns the glove inside out. It’s mildly annoying. But again, they are functional, but if your budget is a bit higher I’d hold out for some higher quality cycling gloves as there are better ones to be had.

I ordered these in a L in the green to replace my old biking gloves that were falling apart. I should note that I have pretty big hands. These are functional biking gloves that seem decently made, but not my favorite for a couple of reasons. For one, the green doesn't match the product photos, it's a deeper green, more towards olive green, but not quite that dark. Also, the sizing is a bit of a problem. These are bit small on me so the pads don't quite hit me in the right place and the pads seem a bit small compared to my old gloves, so there's not a lot of forgiveness if the size is off or you move your hands around a lot when you're riding. That might be less of a problem if you have smaller hands. Also, I miss the Velcro closure strap from my old gloves, I find it's easier to adjust the gloves and to get the gloves on / off. And finally, my old gloves had a cloth pad on the back that I could use wipe the sweat off my brow while biking which was super useful. These are decent basic gloves for people with smaller hands, but for me, I wish I had gone higher end.

I purchased these as my old gloves are wearing out.I ordered a medium and should have order a large pair as these fit tightly. The great thing about them is that they have nice cushioning in the palm areas right where you need them. It isn't gel or anything, just thick layers of fabric. There are plenty of air holes and I like the mesh on the back of the hand to give much needed breathability. The only thing that surprised me is how thin the material is on the rest of the glove. My last pair of gloves had a lot thicker material all around. This isn't really a bad thing as the place where you really want cushioning (the palm) is well padded. My last pair of gloves had a Velcro strap, and these are slip on, but they seem to work well and aren't difficult to get off.Overall I would recommend these if you are looking for a protective glove.

These are excellent gloves for road biking.Padding is well-placed, sufficiently dense to be effective while not being over-bulky.Materials are high quality, stitching is good with no dangling strings.Sizing is accurate. I normally wear XL cycling gloves. These gloves in L are a tight fit, but not so tight that they are uncomfortable. And lots of road cyclists prefer gloves with a tight fit.No superfluous Velcro straps. It’s good to see that well-crafted road gloves now have mostly eliminated the Velcro wrist strap that previous road glove designs included. This strap has no function except to damage the top fabric on gloves which always seems to get caught in the Velcro.Negatives? The unusual finger pocket system for removing the gloves isn’t as effective as the short straps that many other road gloves use. But the gloves are stretchy enough and thin enough to remove easily without using the finger pockets.
