I replaced my iPhone 7s original battery after it failed with this one, and it was for starters super easy to install. The quality is great my phone not only holds a charge but it seems to last even longer than before. The phone can be warm however I haven't noticed a difference from the original battery and heat. It seems to function like any other battery in that way. The price was completely reasonable for my needs. It gave my phone a longer life and saves me from spending hundreds on a new phone.

Replaced the battery and it worked great. Will you get the “not genuine” battery message? Sure. Will you lose seeing the “Maximum Capacity” under battery health and charging? Yes. But it works and you’re spending less than $25. In fact it works better than the deteriorated stock battery that you’re likely wanting to replace. It quick charges just fine and charges wirelessly just fine. If you want an Apple genuine battery and you want to see the Maximum capacity as the battery ages, go to the Apple Store or a local phone repair place and pay more. If you just want to refresh an old device, this will work just fine.

This product is horrible. DO NOT BUY. After replacing the battery, iPhone still shutting off after little bit of use. I reset the iPhone to make sure everything was okay. The battery still shuts off after 50% use. This has been happening multiple times and it’s the second day of owning it. The marketing is completely false. The brand new battery is still dying super quick and shutting down at times.

I’ve relaxed several batteries on iPhones and this kit is by far the best. The screw driver was the best design. I’d say the only thing that could be improved would be a magnetic pad for the screws with the diagram of where to put them back again.

Update 10/25/23:The seller reached to regarding my purchase/review. They were willing to make this situation right by sending a replacement. That means a lot. Because of that I will change my rate to 3 stars until I see how the new battery performs.I purchased this replacement battery kit August 26th. It charged to full capacity one time and never charged to full capacity again.
