Functionally the grip is fine, but the base on the back of the grip is very wide, ostensibly to accommodate the batteries. It is not as comfortable to use as other battery grips on other cameras. My left hand just feels awkward on it. Maybe I will get used to it.

I love having two batteries in use at a time I bought one more and now I can charge two and use two from location to location. I just use my portable battery supply and the charger and throw it in my bag on the go. I only rated the remote at a 3 because it did not work for my D5600. the on they give you is universal and does not work with it.

Battery charger and batteries are fine. Grip is easy to install. Grip has only one control in portrait mode (the shutter button). All other controls still required from regular mode. The remote does NOT work with the d5600. Got no response from manufacturer about the remote.

Build quality is better than I expected. For plastic, it is very strong and durable. Never had any issues even when I am constantly screwing it onto a tripod. With two batteries your camera will last all day.

Nice product. I use it on my Nikon camera all the time. It makes the camera easy to grip. The main reason for purchase was the fact that it doubles the battery life. The camera uses up batteries quickly and having two obviously doubles the usable time.The batteries that were included don't seem to last as long as the OEM batteries, but they make a great backup.
