This Battery Plate Power Pass-through Kit replaces the original sled of the DJI RS3 & RS3 Pro and offers expanded power options. Once you remove the original Ronin Plate by unlocking the height adjustment lever and sliding the plate off, the Power Pass-through Plate then slides on and locks in the same fashion. The Power Pass-through Plate features two 2 Pin Lemo and two P-Tap power output ports, making this plate the perfect solution for powering your camera or accessories like wireless follow focus motors while using your gimbal. The 2 Pin Lemo ports can also function as a power input, allowing you to power the plate via an external source with a 2 Pin to P-Tap power cable (optional). The Gold Mount or V-Mount Battery Plate allows you to mount batteries underneath the plate which gives you the ability to power your camera and accessories via higher capacity batteries without mounting to your camera body directly. This makes your camera system easier to balance on the gimbal and leads to better gimbal performance overall via a more optimized center of gravity. The ability to mount an additional battery makes this a perfect fit for the Hydra Alien when using lighter camera systems that need additional weight to get the best performance out of the shock absorbing arm. This is also a perfect solution for adding power outputs to the Float System. This Kit includes both the Power Pass-through Plate and a Gold or V-Mount Battery Plate with the option of swapping the battery plate for a 2 Pin to P-Tap power cable.

Extremely disappointed. When using the RS2 pro DJI plate that the camera mounts to, it doers not fit. you can aggressively get it on but getting if off is a complete struggle. No idea how Tilta is letting this item ship.

I was actually able to mount an F55 and make this work. Not something I want to do often, but it'll work in a pinch. The product itself seems well made. No fit or finish issues.

I just received the product and have been testing it for a few hours. It's super awesome to use V-mount batteries underneath the gimbal, pretty easy to balance and makes the setup much easier to run. There are 2 problems. The lock for the plate that attaches to the camera may need to be adjusted to fit the plate well. Cut my finger messing with this as my plate got stuck and I had to force it out. So be careful :)The second problem is the battery seems to disconnect if you lock the gimbal without having it centered, on the rs3 pro if you click the power button to auto lock without the gimbal being centered up (double click trigger) it WILL turn off 99% of the time. SUPPPERRRRRR DUPPERRRRRR big issue for me. Almost a big enough issue to refund. If you hold the power button on the rs3 pro to lock it in the folded-up position it will turn off 90-95% of the time. With my configuration powering another controller on the side of the gimbal, a monitor, the camera, and the gimbal itself this is SUPER frustrating. You then have to turn on the gimbal, turn on the external controller, then turn on the monitor (which is used to record), the camera turns itself on which is good at least.Be mindful of this issue or at least test if it occurs with your setup. I recommend always double-tapping the trigger to center the gimbal before locking. All good though, nice product for sure.
