Excellent, safe tool for removing wiper arms. I wrapped the hook end with some silicone to prevent scratching.

This made removing the wiper arms on my car a breeze. A great product at a bargain price.

I recently had to replace the rear wiper arm on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler (JK) with hard top. After watching a YouTube video I realized the only way to do so would be with a tool like this. When looking at prices this one was the best priced and had decent reviews. I bought it, rewatched the video, and about 10 minutes later had the old arm off and the new are on. This now lives in my tool box for the next special occasion that I may need it.

I have no experience with cars or replacing anything on them. So when I had to change my windshield wipers and the back one got stuck, I jumped online to find out what to do. Immediately it brought me to this thing and some videos on how to use it. Its pretty straight forward though and the wiper arm came off no problem.

I bought the "CNWOOAIVE Battery Terminal Puller and Wiper Arm Puller Removal Repair Tool" to remove the rear wiper arm on a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris (Passenger, Liftgate). I was unsuccessful because the tool did not apply pressure evenly to both sides of the tool Every time I started cranking down on it, one side of the tool (always the same side) moved out from the center shaft and started "climbing" the back side of the fitting I needed to remove. First, it ripped the plastic on the old wiper arm. This was okay because I was replacing the arm, but if I'd intended to reuse the arm it would have been a problem. I tore away the rest of the plastic, exposing the fitting that was to be removed. But, every time I tried to use the tool, the same side of the tool came away from the shaft and eventually came off the fitting. Upon closer examination of the tool, one can see that the two "feet" that slip behind or under the fitting to be removed are not at exactly the same angle. Poor quality control. Useless for removing very snug fittings – which is exactly why one needs the tool in the first place.

Buy this one. If you're removing a stuck rear windshield wiper arm, don't bother with the set of 3 from Harbor Freight (ask me how I know). It's cheaper ($10 vs $26) and works EXACTLY as intended. Don't break a wiper arm using the wrong tools. Buy the right tool the first time when you buy your wiper, it's unlikely your local auto parts stores have this on hand.
