I bought 190mm and 187mm for a build. The 190 kept stripping out. I finally noticed that all of the 190 spokes threads had been stripped before I even used them, likely due to manufacturing issues. The 187 are fine. I‘ll reorder 190 spokes and see if the new set is normal or not.

Spokes are really good.but nipples are not.the material used for nipples is very soft so don't use the nipples that are provided with it

Bike shop owner, mechanic, wheel builder, and components manufacturer here.I purchased these spokes in a pinch because of the free overnight shipping and I needed to rebuild a wheel that very next day.Upon arrival, I noticed that the threads on the spokes themselves were done incredibly poorly. The threads were obviously jagged and not cut correctly whatsoever. Any experienced wheel builder would be ashamed of themselves to send out new spokes in such condition.I attempted to build the wheel anyways since I had no other option - just to find that I could not apply adequate tension to the spokes - or even close to adequate tension to the spokes - without the threads in the nipples stripping. (You could literally hear different nipples on the other side of the wheel popping their threads as I went around the wheel tightening everything up..)It became blatantly clear that the nipples are made from absolute junk material - NOT the brass that was advertised on the listing.It literally feels like recycled tin can aluminum. There is literally no way to tighten them without the material failing.At the end of the day - it was simply not possible to use this product for their intended purpose. These spokes are 100% useless for bicycle wheel building.As a joke, we decided to try and ride the wheel with these extremely poor quality spokes and nipples anyways - and within minutes ALMOST EVERY SINGLE NIPPLE IN THE WHEEL STRIPPED. More than half of the 36 nipples all failed at once just from a couple minutes of basic bicycle riding.This is extremely dangerous for anyone that does not know better and may have tried to ride the wheel more aggressively. Someone can be seriously injured by their bicycle wheel failing in this fashion!!Urging the seller to please do the right thing and take these spokes down if you cannot provide a safe and functioning productA refund for the useless product would be nice as well - but if I have to unbuild this wheel then im cutting the spokes with bolt cutters, so not to waste another hour of my life by de-lacing the spokes 1 by 1 just to send them back and have y’all sell them again to another unsuspecting victim….. already wasted my time in lacing the wheel in the first place just to find out that the spokes are completely unsafe!!
