The person who lived here before me had a cat that destroyed the screen on the front door. Replacing the screen right now is out of my budget. This repair patch is wonderful! No, it's not very pretty. But I can leave the door open for cross ventilation now without a house full of bugs. In no time at all I had the patches on. They are very sticky. I don't know how long they'll hold up, but I have plenty of them left to patch it again. I read someone didn't think it was actual screen, but it feels like it to me. Very happy with the purchase

I though this would be patches of screen with adhesive on one side, but it seems more like a pre-cut piece of clear tape with a screen print on it. I might be wrong, but that's how they look when they are first peeled off the backing. That said, they are VERY sticky and hopefully they will hold on for a long time -- but, this is Central Florida's East coast, so the adhesive will need to contend with extreme humidity. Only time will tell.I was, however, hoping for something a little less noticeable. I guess I should've looked closer at the photos in other reviews, because they look almost just like mine. Oh well -- it's a patch not a work of art. (smile)

We had a couple of holes in our many window screens (probably caused by birds flying into them) and had a repair or replace decision. I decided to repair and ordered this adhesive mesh. It was very easy to use and fixed the problem in minutes. I found that applying two pieces of mesh, one inside and one outside, was a good way to get a strong repair.I'm giving the product four stars because, as you can see in the pictures, the tape is pretty obvious after the repair is made. At some point we may replace the screens but this is a great solution for now.
