I purchased these to replace a pair of speakers that had succumb to the weather in the cockpit of my sailboat. The overall build quality of these speakers appears to be on par with other marine speakers. One interesting design point of these vs. others I have bought in the past is that the speaker wire attaches at the top of the speaker as opposed to the bottom. I assume this is to keep the connection as dry as possible. Highs are very crisp and not tinny. Mids are relatively full and not muddy. The bass is very tight and not boomy. Give that they are new, I assume the bass will change slightly over time as they break in. One selling point for me was they have aluminum tweeters. Other marine speakers I've purchased in the past had mylar or similar tweeters that get destroyed by the sun. The tweeters are also mounted to the grill so they behave like components. That also helps keep the speaker sealed from the elements. If your speakers are left exposed like mine are, I would recommend getting speaker covers for them to help prolong the life. My past speakers did not have such a luxury, so really hoping these last more than a couple seasons. Overall, these are great sounding marine speakers they won't sink your wallet!

They were larger than what came on the outside of my camper not sure if old was wrong or these had to cut holes bigger by a tad bit but totally worth it they sound amazing with good bass get complements all the time when we are partying outside camper on how good they sound.

This is my second set of these speakers as I sold the originals with my old boat and decided to go with these again in my new boat. Sound is great and quality seems good as well. Have 4 of these now powered off a small 2 channel amp and a bazooka 8" amplified bass tube and I am very pleased with the sound. Would definitely recommend if you want decent speakers without spending a ton

I bought these to replace the older model of these speakers because of sound quality and they fit the hole cut in the center console of boat. I am very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend.
