I use a Sheridan .20 cal pellet rifle for occasional pest control and these targets provide good practice. I have a scope mounted on the rifle and its accurate out to about 30 yards. These targets are small so they demand concentration, and thus keep me tuned up, and the spinning action is quite satisfying. I’m not sure a BB gun would be accurate enough unless you limit your shooting to about 10 yards. Pellet guns even without optics should hit these out to 20 yards if you do your job.

Works well for family fun use on our property. Putting on the larger trees for the kids to learn how to aim and focus on targets like that was fun and well worth the buy. Easy to set-up as it came will all expected and would say overall design was great for our basic needs.

It is hard to tell how small these are until they arrive. The picture shows the size relative to a Bic pen. Then you will see these are for very precise shooting at short ranges. I suspect many people don't have BB guns that would shoot accurate enough for this target. I guess that's OK because it will motivate me (excuse) to get a better airgun.It comes with the necessary mounting screws and a wrench for installing. It also includes some green shooting dots to apply as shown in the description. It is a thick plate steel that will be fine for BBs or pellets. It may even work for rimfire rifles at longer ranges.I will give it a try this spring and see how well it holds up under repeated use. I plan to stick it in a tree on the edge of my yard where BBs can deflect into the ground or back lot of trees.

it is fun to shoot with a 177 pellet.i like that you can mount them almost anywhere.
